CLIENT

Akabo Media provides decision makers within the fields of logistics, supply chain and intelligent transport systems with the informed intelligence they need to stay one step ahead. Their on- and off-line publications give readers the latest news, expert commentary and feature articles delivered in a format and at a time that suits them.

Their events offer the opportunity to share best practice and build networks with some of the world’s leading figures in their industries. As a platform for third party exposure they offer opportunities covering advertising, sponsorship, event co-hosting, directory listings, data usage and more.

CHALLENGE

Akabo were keen to re-brand their Asia Logistics & Supply 2017 event without having to re-design the website built using our Byzantium Event and Conference Theme pre-formatted templates.

Akabo wanted to excite their audience by focusing on the location, Singapore, and were therefore keen to inject an Asian flavour to the event branding. Colourful and fresh with an emphasis on location instead of sector specific needed to be the pull factor.

SOLUTION

Taking inspiration from Asia, in particular popular attractions known to Singapore, we created an event logo identity that represented the energy and excitement of the city.

This translated across all the deliverables from event promotional leaflet and into the website.

Deliverables included the supply of variable Logo treatments and respective file formats for both print and digital applications.

An Event Leaflet was also created and supplied ready for print and online distribution.

The event website was created using our Byzantium pre-formatted Templated home and inner page layouts ready for the client to create their content and load into the system.

CLIENT

Meed required a microsite dedicated to news for the construction industry in the Middle East. The news would cover six sectors and the articles would be submitted by a variety of contributors specialist in their respective skillsets.

CHALLENGE

Facilitating the variety of contributors across six channels of industry.

SOLUTION

Featured functionality included a mega style menu structure assigning feature stories, top storied within each sector, showcasing video content, moving sections about and sharing content across social media channels.

Each channel is identified by a particular colour and represented by recurring rectangular boxes. The territory, the properties and the family history have an engaging portrait of these wonderful and peculiar lands. Every wine has its own product sheet, designed to provide technical information…

The House is the result of a collaboration between Tunbridge Wells based creative businesses, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent County Council, to provide much needed, affordable and flexible desk and event space for small businesses, freelancers and start-ups working across the creative sector. The building provides 57 desk spaces and 10 co-working (hot desk) positions as well as a number of shared spaces including a large kitchen and garden. The House aims to provide a home to small businesses as well as a focal point for the creative sector in and around Tunbridge Wells.

CHALLENGE

Miramedia were tasked with creating a brand for a new co working space that would appeal to the creative sector.

As a completely new space and concept, no branding existed for The House so everything we created was from scratch. As The House is a co working space for the creative sector, the branding needed to appeal to freelancers and businesses working in this sector, but at the same time be relevant to the demographics of our local area. Everything designed also needed to be ‘extendable’ so it could be used across other similar co working spaces in Kent, providing a cohesive brand for those looking for flexible workspace.

SOLUTION

We worked closely with all the stakeholders, creatives, the local town council and branding agencies to produce the result. With so much similar expertise amongst the stakeholders, the challenge was to listen and then provide a solution to meet all the stakeholders needs.

Miramedia produced a brand that is adaptable, relevant and has impact. It has been easily extended to other buildings within the portfolio of buildings.

“Miramedia worked well with all our stakeholders to create a flexible brand that can be used across our co working portfolio. Whilst appealing to local businesses, it also reflects the modern vibe of the town local agencies want to promote”
