We’re looking for a new bright spark to join our team. A successful intern will be offered a full time role.
We’re looking for a recent graduate or young person (with a web portfolio) to join our team as an intern. Starting with small support requests and ramping up to full site builds we’d teach you everything you need to know to run successful, powerful and beautiful websites powered by WordPress. Working with the Miramedia team to produce new websites for our events and corporate clients.
We’d be looking to evaluate you over a 3 month period, if you’ve got what it takes then the position of ‘Junior Front-End Web Designer/Developer‘ would be open to you.
What we are looking for more than anything else is a passion and a love of technology and open source internet tools.
Required skills:
- Good HTML and CSS knowledge
- Ability to cut up images and mockups in Photoshop
- Recent graduate or a portfolio of recent web design/development work
Would also help but not essential
- Experience with WordPress as a CMS
- Knowledge of any programming or scripting languages (e.g. PHP, ASP, C++, JavaScript)
- Experience with any of the following jQuery, Flash, Illustrator
This is a 3 month contract and we will be paying expenses. At the end of the 3 months there is a possibility of a full time role within the company.
