We specialise in producing exhibition websites used by Event Organisers to market their event, exhibition or conference online. We also build Large Complex websites build on the WordPress Platform.
About our Event Websites
Miramedia has been successfully designing and building websites for exhibitions and conferences for over 5 years. We have been fortunate to work with some of the UK’s leading organisers and produced over 500 leading event websites.
In our opinion, with the exception of a few event-specific tasks (e.g. Exhibitor List, Seminar Programme), Event Marketeers face similar if not the same challenges as any Marketeer Marketing any website. All Marketeers are keen to utilise the new technology and the next buzzy new thing.
Our Event Management System is build apon the WordPress CMS platform with all the benefits that brings. Any proprietary Event Management System is going to be behind the times as technology moves so much faster than even the largest development house – the power of Open Source will always keep up!
Event Products:
The advantage of our Event Solutions over others is that we sell basic packages with all the essential elements and then offer a number of bolt-on modules for the enhanced functionality. This allows us to offer a comprehensive range of solutions from the very small event to the massive.
We have produced a set of simple website packages:
- The Basic – the little fella, perfect for the one day conference, Awards ceremony or Symposium.
- The Standard – a flexible templated event website solution. The cost is low, the functionality is high, perfect for smaller exhibitions and larger conferences.
- The Premier – a bespoke design is applied to the website to exactly match the branding for your event.
- The Co-Located - a copy of the Premier with different branding and colours.

Be-Spoke WordPress development:
We design and build complex or simple, large or small websites using WordPress.
Our thought process with all new projects / challenges is as follows:
- What are the objectives – what are the Must-Haves and Nice-Bits. Where do you want to go with it, where will it possibly need to be expanded.
- Is there anything out there in the Open Source community which is good and does everything we need it to?
- YES – Install it, brand it, Jump to Point 7
- NO – Is there anything out there that does some functions, which we can build apon to do the rest?
- YES – Build it on the open source modules,
- NO – Build it from scratch.
- Train, Write User Guide and continue to support ad advise.
We ensure that all code we write ourselfs is forward compatible with all future module releases. That way we can continue to add features to the sites as they
We have obviously had to learn a great deal about the inner workings of the WordPress platform and as a such have become experts in this excellent open source platform. We are a little sad, but the comeing of version 3 this summer is going to be a major party for us lot!
Where possible we like to give back to the community and as such have written and submitted a number of plugins and widgets for general use.
